STUBBS, Rodney Peter:
Peacefully, with family, at Te Omanga Hospice, on Saturday 28 July 2018. In his 84th year. Dearly loved husband and best mate of Anne (nee Blick) for 55 years. Cherished Dad of David, Merryn and Alistair Kennedy, Peter and Angela (UK) and Janine and Gary Carson. Hugely loved Grandad of Lulu, Mary and Nova; Daniel; Benjamin, Holly and Emily. Loved elder son of the late Arthur and Lulu and big brother/pal of the late Victor. Brother-in-law to Julie Stubbs and John and Julia Blick. Loved Uncle to his nephews and nieces. Sincere thanks to his carers over the few months of his illness and everyone at Te Omanga Hospice, especially over the last two weeks. In memory of Rod the family would appreciate donations to the Te Omanga Hospice. All communications to the Stubbs Family can be sent c/- PO Box 30067, Lower Hutt. At Rod's request, a private family service has been held.

I have the fondest memories of Rod. We worked together at the RMS Division of Treasury, in Molesworth Street, in the 70's.
I have thought of him often, over the years...he stayed in my memory due to his warmth, kindness and humour.
My condolences on losing such a lovely man.
