Bob and Margaret have been simply wonderful friends and in the case of my late partner, Murray Forgie, an exceptional sound engineer at Radio New Zealand who could always be called upon to lend a hand at all times.
Thanks Bob and the late Margaret for the delicious barbecue's and dinners at Karori Road which we were privileged to attend over many years (as neighbours). You attended the opening of the Sydney Opera House with Murray and you were always there on many other notable occasions over a very long period.
You were also kind enough to arrange the music at the late Murray's funeral 23 years ago. My heartfelt sympathy and much love goes out to Judith, Al, Cameron, Cliff and Dylan, in fact all the Cameron Clan at this very sad time. We all congratulate a life well spent. Peacefully sleep dear friend.

Bob was my supervisor at Broadcasting House Wellington in 1965. I have had a number of mentors since then; he was one of the best. We would run into one another occasionally, long after I had moved on from radio broadcasting. He always recognised me, was easy to talk to, and catching up on what we´d been doing was always pleasant. I will remember him

I've been thinking of Bob lately, not knowing anything about the cancer, and having read his obituary I now know I'm too late. So sad. So sorry for Al & the precious grand children . My sincere sympathy to you all. We have many happy memories of Margaret, Bob & Vivienne. Mervyn & Elaine Buxton. Napier

Bob was one of the legendary stage performers in the Buzz O´Bumble Shows throughout the 70´s and 80´s. Never mind the odd performance when the trousers of his Cookie Monster suit were put on back to front and the feet were facing backwards during the performance.
What a trouper and what an amiable, great natured Kiwi bloke. RIP Bob and thank you.
