DOWELL, Rita May:
On 2 January 2022 peacefully at home after a long illness. Aged 95. Loving wife of Laurie (deceased). Cherished mum of Linda (deceased), Neil, Murray & Julie. Much loved sister of June, and Aunty of Rob & James. Adored and much respected Aunty to Linda Cortese & the Marshall girls. Rita is currently resting at her home for those who wish to visit and pay respects. A service to celebrate Rita's life will be held at Gee & Hickton's Guardian Chapel, 6 Norrie Street, Porirua, on Friday 7 January at 12.30pm. Under current regulations, a vaccine passport will be needed for attendance.
