WOOD, Rex Earle:
Peacefully after a short illness at Kenepuru Hospital on Monday 8 August 2022, surrounded by family, in his 91st year. Dearly loved husband of the late Fay. Much loved father and father-in-law of Ron and Eve, Dean and Marie, Jill (dec), Graeme and Claire. Loved grandad of Bianca, Amber, Candis, Wallace-Earle, Jasmine, and Jade, and all his great-grandchildren. Special thanks to the medical teams at Wellington and Kenepuru Hospitals for their care of Rex. In lieu of flowers, donations to Wellington Free Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service. A service to celebrate Rex's life will be held at the Ninness Funeral Home Chapel, 17 Kenepuru Drive, Porirua, on Friday 12 August, commencing at 1.00pm, thereafter private cremation.
