Raymond Owen "Ray" PARTRIDGE

Raymond PARTRIDGE Obituary

Aged 94, at Bob Scott Retirement Village on 25th August 2024. Dearly loved husband of Barbara, and much-loved Dad to Grant & Heather and Lynette. Beloved Grandad to Nikki, Sam, Cory and Jack, and Rebecca and James. A private farewell has been held for him. He will be missed by us all. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Malaghan Institute, www.malaghan.org.nz/support-us

My heart felt sympathy to all the Family, I just saw an ad on TV for Partridge and I looked up Ray and was shipped to see he had passed. I started working for Ray when he opened the store on Lampton Quay, with Neville Aiken , wonderful memories of the family.. and to you Barbara, regards Jenny Mardon

I think I was a small part of the Cuba St store. I cleaned the windows and often you were there on your way to college.
I became a looker at what was on display even in those days,
Ray allowed me to purchase a watch I loved - a Certina on time payment - It cost $850 in the 70's a lot of money.
Ray was one of the good guys.
I am not surprised how successful the family business has become.
My sincere thoughts are with you Grant for a loss of a innovator and a father.
