Ray THORBURN Obituary
19.9.1937 - 16.3.2023
Ray died peacefully at Wellington Hospital, 85 years after he was born there. Father of Sally and Mark and father-in-law of Megan. Brother of Joye, Allyn and Barry. Brother-in-law of Vicki and Janette. Much loved Grandad of Rylee and Phillippa. Uncle of Michael (Sears), Barry, Darryn, Michael (Bliss), Andrew, Shane, Kristin, Ryan, Alecia, and Norelle. Loved by all and his late wife Anne Philbin. The whanau wish to extend immense gratitude to the carers & medical professionals who supported him. A celebration of Ray's life and his contribution to the arts and education in Aotearoa will be held in due course. It was great to have you at our 30th graduation anniversary in 2022, and we were so happy to have you attend and speak.

I just found this on google. I wish I had known, so sad.
I knew Ray from about 2005. Such a wonderful caring human being. He supported me and we were good friends. Loved Anne too!
Goodbye dear Ray thank you for being you. Will see you in my dreams my great friend.
