Dear Andrew, Henry and Florence,
I worked in the MSD legal team with Rachel and remember her generosity with her experience - one of the first in the team to invite me to attend court with her. When I too was more experienced, Rachel and I would often test ideas with each other about matters we were dealing with - I enjoyed that professional camaraderie. Being about the same age and both with children, we also had much in common in our home lives to chat about. As many have said, it is Rachel's laugh that I will remember most - unique and infectious. Rachel was a very kind, caring and giving soul. She is gone too soon and greatly missed. I watched the service and I can see her greatest achievement was her family. She will be with you always. From her passing I hope that you take strength, and not despair.

I knew Rachel at Canterbury University. We spent 3 yrs studying together and sharing accommodation. My memories of Rachel are of her always smiling and never phased by what was in front of her; always putting on a brave face and making a joke to diffuse any worries or tension. She was dedicated, kind, accepting, funny and at times, totally outrageous..I loved that about her. Thank you Rachel for helping me through some tough times and making Uni bearable and also thank you for looking after my cat Thomascina! Have a lovely journey. X

I am so sad to hear of Rachel's passing. We were at Taradale High school together, I remember her kindness, class, poise, and intelligence. Everyone looked up to her. Much love to her family in the time ahead which I know will be difficult

Rachel was brilliant and gorgeous and clever and funny and talented...she was so kind to me and her family were so welcoming and fun to be around. I have only seen her twice since we left school, but I think of her often and I feel so much for her family and friends who I am sure had their lives lit up and blessed by this most inspiring and caring friend.

I was lucky to spend two years sitting next to Rachel at Oranga Tamariki. She was so warm and kind to everyone, and held with high esteem by all.
She was so proud of Henry and Florence and the adults they grew to be.

My thoughts go out to the family at this time.
Rest In Peace Rachel
