I have so many wonderful memories of my loving and caring Grandma.

We are all truly lucky to have had her in our lives.

Driving from Upper Hutt to Foxton to visit her will be forever embedded in my soul.

Christmas, Easter and Birthdays or a casual stop in as we made our way up north - Grandma would always welcome us with her unique and cheerful voice.

Summer days at the beach with Grandma, Aunties, Uncles and the many older and younger cousins

Winter days playing her piano or just spending time with her genuinely interested in your life or simple enjoyable small talk.

It maybe just a passage of time but without Grandma there would be so many less amazing people on this earth.

Thanks to my Uncle Lloyd, for providing me with an opportunity to talk with Grandma only weeks ago telling her I loved her very much.

On behalf of my beautiful kids, we thank Grandma for everything she was and did for the Gandy family.

RIP (Foxton wave)

Hub of FUN and hard work... Aunty Phyll -always with a warmest cheerful welcome and hospitality. As visiting kids we slid down the bank between the house and garage in Union St in our best visiting clothes and she cleaned us up with no complaint and fed us heaps of great food which all the family had brought together...Beryl and Carolyn busy serving (Elvis music background) Lloyd chasing us through the house over the bunks bed and out the window round the house...John and June together as new loves warning us....along with Carolyn, Beryl, Faye, Jake, Gary, Lance and Pat, and Uncle Alan ...and Mum and Dad (Gordon & Paddy).....we had heaps of fun! - thanks Aunty Phyll...I have learned much from you.. with lots of happy childhood memories.
Thinking of you all with great love as you farewell your lovely Mum.

Warmest wishes
