Phil took time to have coffee with me when my mum was sick with cancer and I had recently lost one of my best friends to the same disease. After that we emailed back and forth for a while about life and Phil was so supportive and understanding and helped me through such a difficult time. Phil made a huge positive difference in my life and I will forever remember him as a loving family man who lived his life in gratitude.

We never got to meet Phil, although it felt like we had. You were an inspiration to me, 'never give up' is how I will always remember your legacy.

Much love to the family and friends.
