Rt. Rev. CBE, 8th Bishop of Nelson 65-90, died peacefully on March 23rd, 2013. In his 90th year. Loved husband of Pam. Loved father of Michael and Karen, and grandfather to Tom. Loved father of Jennifer. Loved brother of Anthony and the late David. His funeral service will be held at Christ Church Cathedral, Nelson on Thursday afternoon March 28th at 2.00pm. Bishop Peter was always a great man - during my formative years, he was 'the man' who anyone involved in the church looked up to and respected.

I never knew him well, but the time I did spend with him I will never forget.
