Peter JACOBSON Obituary
On November 5, 2016, unexpectedly at his home in Silverstream, aged 78 years. Dearly beloved husband of Helen and the late Claire. Much loved father and father in law of Catherine and Craig Butler, Russell and Tricia, Mark and Tracey, Nick and Sarah, and Brendon and Rachel. Loved Poppa of Sam; Sarah, and Gemma; Andy, Matt, Claire, and Holley; Amelia, and Sophia; Blake, Caiden, Bryce, and Serena. In lieu of flowers donations to the Wellington Free Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service or posted to Box 601 Wellington 6140. A funeral service for Peter will be held in St Mary's Anglican Church, 13 Terminus Street, Silverstream, Upper Hutt on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 1.00pm and thereafter private cremation at Akatarawa. To Helen & family,
Peter was one of life's gentlemen & I knew him over a number of years through the Hutt Valley Angling Club & fly-tying. He will be sadly missed. I've included a picture of another recently deceased & highly respected HVAC member, Keith Tourell, who like Peter, was highly valued in the club.

I was sorry to hear of Petes passing. I was away overseas so unfortunately I was unable to attend his funeral. I have many fond memories of working with Peter at Harcourt's in Silverstream. Her was one of the worlds true gentlemen.

So sorry to hear of your sudden passing. Thanks for all the wonderful memories of Taita Drive, Kuratau, fly fishing etc. I know dad will be waiting with a beer in his hands upon reaching your next destination. Safe travels friend.
