Peter HICKS Obituary
Suddenly at Tasman Glacier, Mt Cook National Park, on
12 November 2018, aged 57 years. Much loved and cherished partner of Nikki Joseph; father of Anna, Cate and Ben; loved son of Barbara and the late Harry; brother of Liz, Carolyn and Allison; loved first husband and friend of Isabel. Special thanks to the Alpine Guides Ltd and Search and Rescue, Mt Cook, for their care and support. In lieu of flowers donations to the Life Flight Trust or the Tararua Tramping Club would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Messages to 'the Hicks family' may be placed in
Peter's tribute book at www.tributes.co.nz or posted c/- PO Box 14-366, Kilbirnie 6241. A celebration of Peter's life will be held at the Life Flight Trust, 17 George Bolt St, Rongotai, on Wednesday
21 November at 2.00pm, thereafter private cremation.

So sorry to hear of Peter's death. Our paths crossed in different ways over the years. His compassion, care for his patients, clear thinking and ability to get things done always shone through. He will be much missed. My sympathy to his family, friends and colleagues.

I went to Rangitikei College with Peter. Our form class consisted of the same students each year and I remember him as a nice, considerate guy. Condolences to his family. ""He made a difference."

Very sad to hear this. First met Peter at Grafton Hall, Auckland University. We then flatted together. Remember him as a talented guitar player, person of conviction who went on to great things. Condolence to his loved ones. Garth London.
