BERNARD LILBURN
April 11, 2021
Pete and the "tightliners" rented our family Bach at Waitetoko for their Taupo fishing trips. He was always great company, up for a chat and a yarn, and the camaraderie that was shown amongst the group was special. Although we have never met, my sympathies to Peters Family. Regards, Bernard Lilburn

To Buzzy, Chanelle, Lauren and Family
Sorry to hear the sad news of the loss of your best friend, dad and Poppa. Always enjoyed my chats with Dessie at the Edwards's over the years. Know how much he will be missed by everyone. Sending you all our love. Natalie Pohio and Family

To Pete's family and friends,
Please know that some of your sadness is shared. Your loss is great and for that I send you all comforting, warm hugs.
I loved to hear Pete's voice on the phone if I happened to answer and he would say "well, if it isn't the lovely LouLou", of course I would smile and we would have a little chat about this and that before the serious conversation about jobs!
Pete was always kind, even if something wasn't right!
Pete was always positive about his illness and said he would "win this race".
To me, because of his kindness and positivity, Pete Deslandes always has been and always will be a winner!
Sending you back a bit of the kindness that your beloved Pete was happy to share.
With a sad heart but lots of love,
Louise,
LambPeters Print.
