PALMER, Paul:
We are sad to say that Paul Palmer passed away on Sunday 11 June 2023, peacefully, with his daughters by his side. A loving father, Union Delegate, Football Coach and Player, Ten Pin Bowling, and Kapi Mana Darts Representative. Paul's life will be celebrated at a Memorial Service at the Porirua Club, on 4 July, at 5.30pm. Subsequently, Paul's ashes will join his late wife Naureen, at the whanau urupa in Taupo, on 9 July 2023, at 10.30am. I sailed with Paul on ORSOVA in 1966 and we were great friends , spending time together in Norfolk during the Seaman“s strike , have only just found out his passing , sleep well old mate , regards, Ron

I am sorry sorry to learn of Paul's passing. I remember Paul when we played together at Miramar Rangers golden oldies team. He was so much fun both on and off the field and we will always remember his joke's and laughter. He had so many seafaring tales and life stories that I recall to this day.
