Hi Jo. Just heard this afternoon that Paul has passed - I'm so very sorry. Paul was very good company . . . He amazed me with his depth of experience and knowledge and I was privileged to have him as a friend. I have missed his company and conversation for the year that we've been away and am truly devastated that he is gone. My deepest sympathy.

Hello Jo and Family, Just seen the sad news and so sorry for your loss. Paul generously gave me a break into the NZ job market way back in 2002 and I am forever grateful. What a sense of humour and awesome laugh! Would have been there on Monday, had I known. Take care. Beth Bates, ex ESR.

I have the fondest memories of Paul, such a gentle giant who with his humour and bear hugs made me feel loved and special. True salt of the earth, feel blessed and lucky to have know such a gentleman. Thank you Paul for the memories, and the laughs. Thank you Jo and boys for sharing him with us all. The world has lost another great man.
All my love to you Jo, Bray, Jordan and your families. Happy fishing Paul, no doubt you and Dad have your rods out already. xxx

Hi Jo, I've heard the news this morning from another colleague Paul and I both worked with. Words cannot express my shock and sadness. Paul had been more than a colleague to me since I knew him from 2007. He was a warm friend, great mentor and counsellor. He will always have a special space in my heart. I miss him so much!
My thoughts are with you and your family.
