Pat, our darling Dad has gone to join Mum and the Lord in heaven. Passed away peacefully at the Home of Compassion (HOC), Silverstream with his family by his side. Dearly loved husband of the late Dorothea, beloved and respected father of Peter & Sandra, John & Mary, Donna & Dave Brown, Mary & Kuru Gray, Michelle & Ken Farrell, Margaret & Chris Hill, and James. Loved grandad of Jodie, Melanie and Simon; Anne and Francesca; Aaron, Stacey and Jordan; Kuru, Dorothea, Wiremu, Joseph and Ripeka; Keri and Russell; Michael and Dave and all their partners. Cherished great grandad to his 29 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Many thanks to the nurses and staff at the HOC for their wonderful care and attention to Dad over the years. In lieu of flowers, donations to the the HOC would be greatly appreciated and can be left at the Mass. A Rosary for Pat will be held at the HOC Chapel, 237 Fergusson Drive, Silverstream on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at 7.00pm. A Requiem Mass for Pat will be held at St Joseph's Catholic Church, cnr Pine Ave and Main Street, Upper Hutt on Monday, May 30, 2016 at 1.00pm, followed by interment at Akatarawa cemetery.
