Patricia BLADES Obituary

Evan, Johnny, Paul and Charlie,and Richard.and all the little grand children that are so special. What a loss. I knew you all as little children, saw you grow up to be the capable people you are today. Pat so loved her family and friends. She was always happy, capable and never complained.A real friend to so many. Her last gift to me was a Scots cook book, a love of hers, and I will cook out of it this Xmas with love for you Pat.

We have only just heard about Pat's passing today. We are so sorry for your loss. Pat was a wonderful person who had a great sense of humour. We'd often spend time talking & laughing with her after everyone had left the Kiwi Cres BBQ's. Pat would always go out of her way to make sure everyone felt comfortable & included in whatever was happening. She was a genuine caring & kind hearted person who always had a smile on her face. It was always lovely to see her at the BBQ's etc. & we will really miss the privilege of doing so with her in future. Your Mum was a fantastic & wonderful person. To the Blades family. My sincere condolences to you at this very sad time. I kew Pat when she was a Prefect at HVHS, and she got me a few times for not wearing my cap. She did a huge amount of work for the Past Pupils Association and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
