Olivia MARCHANT Obituary
(Nod!) (nee Michell):
At sunset on Sunday 16 January 2022, peacefully at home, aged 71 years. Loved wife of Jeff. Adored mother and mother-in-law of Steve and Liz (UK) and of Pete (dec, 2007). Cherished Granny of Luna, Edward, Jasmine and Douglas. In accordance with Olivia's wishes a private cremation has been held. A service to honour Olivia's life will be held in Cornwall Manor, corner Knights Road and Cornwall Street, Lower Hutt, on Wednesday 26 January 2022 at 2.00pm. A valid vaccine pass will be required for attendance at the service. Special thanks to Te Omanga Hospice staff for their extraordinary care of their cherished colleague. In lieu of flowers donations would be welcomed to Te Omanga Hospice, Lower Hutt. All communications to the Marchant family, c/- PO Box 31-389, Lower Hutt 5040.

Hi Jeff
We have only just heard of Olivia's passing and have watched the video stream of her funeral. We are very sad to hear of her passing. We will miss her very much. We loved seeing you both whenever we came to Wellington and before that it was always lovely to work with Olivia at Te Omanga hospice. We loved meeting the grandchildren (2) when they, like us, lived in Tawa. We would love to make contact with Olivia's cousin who we know also lives in Kaiwaka. Please contact us on (09)9450935. So sad to hear of Olivia's passing. Jan and I have wonderful memories of a very caring person starting with our shared time together at Hearty Towers when Pete was having his transplant. Rest easy Olivia and condolences to Jeff and Steve
