Norma CALLISTER Obituary

CALLISTER, Norma (nee Smith). Passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord on Sunday 16 December 2012, in her 85th year. Loved wife of the late Harry and sister of Audrey Smith. Precious Mum of Paul and Leyette , Mary and Robbie Burns, Ruth and Bruce Stormer, and Audrey and Barry Doak. Adored Nana of Rachel, Derek, Vinnie, Shane, Jared, Jenica & Richard, Nicole, Luke, Tom, Josh, Ben, Halie, Jacob and Grace and NanNan of Harry and Theo. A celebration of Norma's life will be held at the Hastings Baptist Church, Cnr Lyndon Road East and Karamu Road South, Hastings at 11am Thursday 20 December. She was the best Mum. I loved her and every day I think of her and all she did for her family. She put us first after her father in heaven. We went without nothing we needed. We had love in our home, fun at home with lots always happening. She prayed for us daily and went without herself to make sure all her children got every opportunity she could afford. She never let us go without. I love her and miss her. Life is not the same without my Mum and Dad.
