Noel Lindsay: RNZN (Ret.)
MBE J13969. Passed away peacefully at Taupo on 3rd March 2017, aged 84 years. Husband of Betty. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Andrew, Chris and Charlotte, Ann-Marie and John. Grandfather of Tamara, Ben, Sophie, Hayley and Nate. Great-grandfather of Minnie and Olivia. A funeral service for Noel will be held at the Salvation Army Citadel, 2 Kiddle Drive, Taupo on Friday 10th March at 2.00pm, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lake Taupo Hospice Trust (Inc.) P.O.Box 950 Taupo New Zealand would be appreciated, or may be left at the service. All communications to the Walker Family, C/- P.O.Box 940 Taupo.

My father's,(Murray Verran's), best mate since they were boys in the Navy, Uncle Noel is now joining him trout fishing in heaven, having a laugh and enjoying a drink. Rest in Peace Uncle Noel, we are so glad this journey is now over for you and you are in a better place. Thank you for your love and care when you were our MC at our wedding 25 years ago, for your lifelong friendship with my parents and just being a great all round gentleman.
