I am sending my condolences on Noel´s death.
I am his cousin living in England. My Father was Frederick - brother of George Dalziel - Noel´s Father.
I am trying to add to the Dalziel family tree and came upon Noel´s death .
I then found a photograph of the family at my wedding in 1960!

Hello to Ann, Sophie, Charlie and Georgina. I too was a member of the golfing quartet and enjoyed many Saturday rounds with Noel. He was very good company. I remember asking him what was his favourite restaurant - he replied that Ann was such a good cook he never went out to eat! And he spoke often of their three children, and he always had a warm positive regard for you all. I found once that he had high standards too. We were having lunch in the cafe in Otaki and I was eating peas off my knife. Well that was not good enough for Noel and he gently suggested I use my fork! He was one of life's characters with a very interesting history. I missed him and the other three golfing mates after I moved to Tauranga, but used to enjoy catch-ups with him on visits back to Wellington. Sadly they will be no more. Blessings on you all.

Dear Ann, Sophie,Charlie,Georgina, Tom, Charlotte & Penelope.
Heartfelt condolences, sending our love and sad to hear the loss of Noel & Grandpa. We remember his humour and always admired his golf clubs in the Porsche. Conversations on his life and business acumen were inspiring.
Our thought and prayers are for you and may the support of our family give you peace and comfort.

Dear Ann, Charlie and family. I was one of four golfing buddies that played weekly until a couple of years ago. I always admired Noel's character, sense of humour and hearing of his life's experiences and family. He was in the words of Barry Crump: 'a good keen man', socially responsible, a model citizen and a successful businessman. He will be missed. My sympathy and condolences. Peter Nichols.
