Dear Joyce,

You may not remember me, But Neil and I worked for Cryovac together for 6 years. I visited him from Porirua almost monthly in early 80s.

I fondly remember talking plans to retire to Waiheke forty years ago. I returned to the US almost 30 years ago and have often thought of you two on Waiheke enjoying your retirement.

In January I will visit Waiheke for the first time and had hoped to visit you and Neil. I am so sorry to have missed him but will always remember his wonderful smile, when talking about you and his retirement plans.

He was a great guy and dearly missed.
