Murray Arthur:
Born June 12, 1926, passed away peacefully at Bishop Selwyn, Christchurch, on June 15, 2018, aged 92 years. Dearly loved husband of Shirley Scambary (Mowat), loved by Vivien Scambary (deceased), and much loved father and father-in-law of Mark and Chris, Clare and Mark, Muzz and the late Liz, Stephen and the late Lorraine, cherished grandfather of Teena and Karl, Scott and Jasmine, Sam and Sarah, Brent, Hayley and Callum, Greig and Kaylah, Daniel, Alana, Melanie and Nick, adored great-grandfather of Maddie, Travis, Jackson, Eva, Aiden, Nikolas, and Lina, loving brother and brother-in-law of Rev. Fr Norman Scambary (deceased), Rex and Rita Scambary, a special uncle to all his nieces and nephews. One of the last 1953 National Brass Band (The Pioneers) and a long-time member of the Woolston Brass.

Messages may be addressed to: The Family of the late Murray Scambary c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. A Requiem Mass will Celebrated in The Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 70 Spencer Street, Addington, Christchurch, on Wednesday, June 20, at 11.00am, interment thereafter at Ruru Lawn Cemetery. Recitation of the Rosary will be held in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, on Tuesday, June 19, at 7.00pm.
