Murray Laird (Muz):
Peacefully at home on Thursday, 13 October 2022. Much loved husband of Janet. Loved father and father-in-law of Josh & Penina, and Aimee & Leauro, and Poppy of Dawson, Roland, Larson and Marnie. Loved son of Douglas and Judith. A Memorial Service to celebrate Muz's life will be held in Cornwall Manor, cnr Knights Road and Cornwall Street, Lower Hutt, on Tuesday, 18 October, at 10.30am. In lieu of flowers, donations to Te Omanga Hospice would be appreciated and can be left at the service or at www.teomanga.org.nz/support-us/donate. Messages for the Drysdale Family can be sent c/- 30-127, Lower Hutt 5040.

So sorry to hear of Muz's passing. The last time I saw you guys was at Bruce and Deb's just over a year ago, at one of your many street gatherings which I was lucky to be a part of.

It's been many years since we met with you both at your parents' house in Hinau Grove.

So sorry to hear muza has passed away. He was a childhood friend of my brother in law Michael Gibson. Muza was a brilliant plumber. My condolences to the family.

I remember him as one of dads lovely rugby mates with a beautiful family. a modest, selfless, fun & hardworking man who was a huge support to others while smiling through his own struggles. A real inspiration. wishing his family Peace &love.

My heart breaks for Janet, Josh, Aimee and family. Murray was hands down one of the best! He started off as a friend of dads and became a great friend to our whole family.
Thank you for joining the many celebrations over the years, for looking out for dad, especially in the later years. We are going to miss your calls Muz to check in on the family, even when we lost Dad. You will be hugely missed.
