Michael Joseph (Mike):
Passed away in the presence of his loving family on 30th June 2022, aged 80. Most dearly loved husband of Bernie for almost 50 years; treasured Dad and friend of Michael & Heidi, Nicola & Keri, Daniel & Holly; adored grandad of Timmy, Izzy & Jackson. In lieu of flowers donations to Mary Potter Hospice at www.marypotter.org.nz would be appreciated. Messages to 'the Wood family' may be placed on Mike's tribute page at www.tributes.co.nz or posted c/- PO Box 723, Paraparaumu. A service to celebrate Mike's life will be held at Our Lady Of Fatima Church, 169 Main Road, Tawa, on Thursday 7th July 2022 at 11.00am, thereafter private cremation.

Great guy ! Very pleased I attended his funeral and caught up with Bernie . Very moving and well supported.
Still recall the Golf tournament in Methven when he won and then ran 8 kms back to the motel !

One of the really nice guy's. A very good card player and like the rest of us,an average Golfer.It was always great to see him each year at our little golf Tourno,stretching back 50+ years. Take care Mike and yes, we still follow Fulham.

A real gentleman will be sadly missed I shall be remaining MW intermediate the seniors shoes are far too big to fill!!
