Michael Phillip Winston:
Of Hastings. Born Gisborne, August 31, 1940, died at Hastings, September 21, 2021. Son of Patricia Helen Carr and Alfred Lyle Andrew, he was adopted in his early teens by Keith Ramsden Kitchin. Michael was grandson of Ernest and Norah Carr, and grandson of Jim Andrew and Elizabeth Goldsmith. He was the loved husband of Janice Ruby Richardson (dec), and revered father of their children Christine, Darcy and Jamie, and their families. He is survived by them, and by his brother Peter L Kitchin and sisters Phillipa Kitchin and Jenny Gaskin. His funeral was held at Kohupatiki marae, near Hastings.
