To Anne and family my sincere condolences. As I remember Michael today as a person with love and respect for others, a person I have worked with and a friend and work colleague of my father Derek Steele when he was Diocesan Registrar.

Sincere condolences to you Anne and the family. As a colleague in ministry, as Vicar and Archdeacon of Kapiti, and then as Diocesan Registrar it was privileges to serve in Wellington Diocese with Michael as Dean of Wellington. His vision and drive and leadership at the Cathedral of St Paul's, Wellington, and beyond, was inspirational. Thanks be to God for this good and faithful servant. Rest in Peace in the arms of Lord who you served so faithfully.

Sincere condolences to you Anne and the family. It was a privilege to know Michael in his years as Dean of Wellington, and to serve as an assistant organist and on vestry during the exciting period of the completion and consecration of the Cathedral. His vision and commitment were an inspiration to us all.
