Dearly loved husband of Tau (Toni). Loved father and father-in-law of Jacqui Martin, Christchurch. Peter and Pauline, Rarotonga and Paul, Hastings. A loved grandfather and great-grandfather. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of Anne (dec) and Peter Jamieson (Whanganui), Merrin and John Campbell (Waihi), Lloyd (dec) and Sue Jones (Melbourne), Nigel and Chris Jones (Whanganui) and Cheryl Jones (Papakowhai). Interment will take place in Rarotonga.

Early '70s, Hastings, Max had a thoroughly unique man-management style that brought out the absolute best in people. Universally loved and respected, a legend in the true meaning of the word. Rest in peace Max

My late husband Jim Beardsley would have wanted to thank Max for the good times and tuition Max gave him in Hastings. I too could tell many a story about those years....I'm tempted but I won't.
