My late husband Jim Beardsley would have wanted to thank Max for the good times and tuition Max gave him in Hastings. I too could tell many a story about those years....I'm tempted but I won't.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Max. Our Condolences to Toni and Family and Nigel and Christine and family. We worked with Max at write price supermarket many years ago . He was such a lovely man and quite witty such a character.

I have good memories of Max with Hastings Celtic rugby club and as a fellow member of the NZ police in Hastings in the70's and 80's.you were a good man Max, Graeme Walsh-California.
