Condolences to Pam and all the family.
I knew Max as Mr Heyder, when I was at school with Sharon. A real gentleman, great sense of humour, keen mind and having a deep love for his family. I know he will be missed so very much. Sending deepest sympathy

Max, a pillar of good sense at GMNZ during the early 60's: his independence of thought was always refreshing. A pleasure to work with. Chris, Michigan.

RIP Uncle Max - you have been and will remain an inspiration and role model for generations of Heyders. You were a rock for my father, Keith, in his times of need. I will be eternally grateful for the Eulogy you gave your son Ross to read at his funeral as it gave us an insight to his early life and an understanding of why he was the way he was. Lots of love to Aunty Pam and all of your children and grand children from James, Delma, James Jnr, Ira, Rachel and our whanau
