I met Max when he was 16. Never have I met anyone who made friends eaiser than Max. You met him, you liked him.
Most of us leave this world leaving a hole for our family and few others. Max will be missed by many many more. It was my privlage to have known him. Love to his family and especially to Marie who has been so strong through this.

Max, I remember you first as a cheerful, smiling six year old on the Wairarapa farm, surrounded by a host of doting older sisters. Always inspirational. Farewell cuz, rest in peace. It's always the best who are taken too soon.
My deepest sympathies to Maria, Erik and Jorgine, and to Karen, Katrina, Jeanne and Michele.

I knew Max for many years through work at Hutt Valley DHB and always found him to be extremely pleasant, helpful and to have a delightful sense of humour. On reading his death notice just now I realised that I also knew him as a young boy as I was good friends with his sisters, Katrina and Jeanne - such a small world! I am sure you will all miss him greatly and my thoughts are with you all.

Sorry to read of Max's passing. I have fond memories of Max when I was employed at the hospital. Played a few games of cricket with him for the BMCCC and had many social interactions as part of the Hospital social club. There was group of fun loving practical jokers at the time and he was right amongst it. We had a lot of fun. Rest easy Max.

Thinking of Max’s family at this time - I was so pleased to be able to talk with Max last Friday when he came to the hospital. He was such a ‘can do’ personality with a great sense of humour. Such a pleasure to be work with. A fitting tribute to see the tree that has been planted at the hospital entrance in his memory. Rest In Peace Max- on behalf of the Hutt Radiology Department.
