Maurice GRAY Obituary

Peacefully at home with his family by his side; Aged 68. Much loved husband of Anne, loved Dad of Teresa & Leon, Peter & Emma and Pip & Hiro. Adored Grandad/Poppa of Sian, Clara, Rosa, Eden and Emmy. Loved brother of Kevin and Louise, and brother-in-law to many. Loved uncle to his nieces and nephews. Many thanks to Wellington Blood & Cancer Centre, Ward 5 North at Wellington Hospital, Wellington Free Ambulance, Te Omanga Hospice and family, friends and neighbours for their love and support for Maurice. A celebration of Maurice's life will be held in Kingswood, cnr King and Cairo Streets, Upper Hutt on Saturday 9th September at 2.00pm, followed by a private cremation. Livestreaming will be available for anyone who would like to participate online.

RIP Maurice. Very sad to hear. Have very happy memories working with him at Rimutaka Prison in Unit 10. A cheeky smile and a smart wit. We talked a lot about the Whiskey we liked. Cheers Maurice go well my work mate.
