Matthew JAMISON Obituary

I have written this poem in memory of my cousin Matt who unfortunately died last Wednesday:
My dear cousin Matt,
You were like a big brother to me
and are going to be sorely missed you see,
You fed my passion for history
And inspired me to study IT
I hope you know how much you meant to me,
I'll honor your memory just wait and see.

Matt's loss is a tragic one but it's important to remember the good times, I pray you are at peace until we meet again.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all in Wellington on this most difficult of days. I hope that there is a small amount of comfort in knowing that whilst we can't be there in person we are certainly with you all in spirit.

Matthew, My favourite Nephew, I will Love You forever, Your Favourite Uncle David.

Words seem so feeble in moments like these.
Life is so precious and death such a thief.
The depth of your pain I cannot comprehend, but stand alongside you in the darkness you don't comprehend.
Love is a bond that cannot part.
Gone from your arms, but still in your heart.
