Matthew Ngarua:
He aitu, kua hinga te ttara o te Waonui a Tne, ko Matthew Ngarua Gregory, moe mai r e te rangatira, 13 May 1989 to 28 April 2023. It is with deep sorrow and heartache that we advise Matthew passed away on Saturday 28 April 2023. Matthew is the treasured son of Michael Gregory and stepson of Vicki Gregory, the son of Maria Kahukura, beloved brother of Karla, Zane and Rachel, Jessica and Stacy, and the late Aimee-Chantelle, and the adored uncle of Tyson. Matthew was much loved by his aunts, uncles and many cousins.
You are forever in our hearts.
The service for Matthew will be held in Cornwall Manor, corner of Knights Road and Cornwall Street, Lower Hutt, on Friday 5 May, at 10.30am.

Mattie and I shared a close professional and collaborative relationship at our work, and a joyful and uplifting friendship outside of work, based on silly banter and lots of laughter. His sudden and early departure from this earth, leaves a hole in my heart and a dent in my wairua, which will not be easily filled. See you again one day e hoa.
