To the Pointer Family
I didn't know Maryanne or your family but I would like to say how amazing I thought Maryanne was to our daughter, Jane, and grandson, Liam, after their husband and father, Daniel, passed away suddenly in 2014.
Maryanne helped Jane and Liam be included in the Stella family and I have always felt that this was such an important gesture for Liam, especially, to get to know the other side of his family; his dad's side. I know they feel welcomed by you all and Liam was very fond of "Aunty Maryanne". She put so much thought into the gifts she gave him and I know he remembers those as well.
I will never forget her for this wonderful understanding of the importance of family.
I send my condolences to you all on the loss of your wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister. Your loss will be enormous.
May God bless you all. Rest in Peace Maryanne. I am sad not to have met you.
Jennifer Hercock. (Jane Stella's mother; Liam's granny}

Maryanne I met you through Rachelle and Dave, Tim was just 10 years old. It has been a pleasure to have known such a beautiful soul, and your birthday cakes you made for my grandchildren, your nieces and nephew always out shone "Gran" attempts but it was never a competition. Your beautiful Jessica as we reminisced today, her first job being with my Neil at the Cruising Club Restaurant. Neil teachng her to make club sandwiches and fold napkins, I have to smile at the thought. Thank you for the shared enjoyment we had with our combined families over those years. I envisage you having a welcome home drink with your family now, say hello to Neil who will be there not to far away to welcome you in. It's time to reflect on all thats been. Pauline Scott

Very upset to hear of Mary annes departure. Met her many years ago as a parent at St Theresa's school. Hit it off straight away with her love of theatre and my involvement in dance. Produced many shows for the school together always with lots of laughs. In 1993 my marriage fell apart and Maryanne came to me and offered practical support, something I really needed. I wish I had known that she was sick because I would have returned the kindness she had shown me at a time of sadness. Trip the light fantastic Maryanne see you on the other side regards bronwen taylor

Maryanne was a lovely, kind woman - full of fun. I will always remember the fun we had in Wind in the Willows when she was Badger & I was Toad. She was a fabulous actor. All of us at MLT send our condolences to Maryanne's family.
