COOPER, Mary Rosaleen:
Died peacefully in the early hours of 28th December 2021 at her residence at Charles Fleming Retirement Village. Dearly loved wife of the late Ross Gordon Cooper. Sister of the late Richard Pickford (South Africa), and daughter of Harry & Christina Pickford (Limerick, Ireland, but later London, UK). Thank you to the staff of Charles Fleming who have steered Mary through her final years so well. A service to celebrate Mary's life will be held at 1.30pm on Wednesday 5th January at Cedarwood, 17 Parata Street, Waikanae. Messages can be sent c/- Mary & Ross's long-term friend, Bruce McDonald. I am one of Mary's 1st cousins and knew Mary and her late brother, Richard very well during my youth. Their mother Christina was a maternal aunt of mine.
We shared many many happy times in our youth before the family left Limerick (Ireland) for London. May they all have a happy repose and rest in peace!
