Mary COOPER Obituary
(nee Chapman):
On 14 September 2021 Mary passed away peacefully at The Lodge, Parkwood. Aged 91 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Ronald. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Lynley and Kevin Bootten, Rhonda Singleton and Peter Blakeman, Murray and Angela Cooper and Kerry and Trudie Cooper. Loving Nana to Joanne, Nicole, Campbell and the late Tracey, Kirsty-Anne, Monica and Peter-John, Rebecca and Emma, Elise, Georgia and Jed. Doting Great Nana of Levi, Brock and Makenzy, Carter and Lincoln, Morgan, Camryn and Marshall, William, Thomas and Samuel, Isla and Margot and Grace. Loved daughter of the late Thomas and Winifred Chapman, loved sister and sister-in-law of Sir George and the late Lady Chapman. The rosary will be recited at St Mary's Church, 4 Convent Road, õtaki on Thursday 16 September at 5.00pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Mary at the Church on Friday 17 September at 10.00am. Due to Covid restrictions, physical attendance at Mass is by invitation. You are invited to watch Mass by live stream. Please email [email protected]

To Murray and Ang, Kerry and Trudie and Lynley and Kevin and families. I'm sorry for your loss at this time. Vaughan and I used to visit on our bikes for biscuits and cakes, (we were little) Mary was so lovely to us boys. Ron I'm sure used to be sizing us up to do jobs for him but we never stayed that long, on our daily river bike rides. God Bless Mary and Ron may they rest peacefully together. To all the Cooper family. I was saddened to learn of Mary's death. I immediately thought of all the chats Rick and I had when we lived in Riverglade. She was always bright and cheerful and happy to share her gardening knowledge. You will all miss her but I am sure the happy memories will surround you at this time.
