HOLDEN, Martin Witchall:
On October 11, 2017, peacefully at Te Omanga Hospice, aged 79. Loving husband of Beverly; father and father-in-law of Dawn & Paddy, Sandra & Richard and Brett & Tia; grandad of Hannah & Kirsten, Juno & Kobi and Hayleigh & Olliver; son of the late Stan & May Holden; brother & brother-in-law of Elmay & Bob, Kathleen (dec), Gloria & Tom, Jill & Martin, Aileen (dec) & Alan, Wilma (dec) & Neville and Warren & Liz; loving uncle to all his nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff in Ward 5 North Wellington Hospital and Te Omanga Hospice. Rosary will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 61 Waiwhetu Rd, Lower Hutt on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at 7.00pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the above church on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 11.00am, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to the St Vincent de Paul Society and Te Omanga Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Very sorry to hear of Martins passing, he was a good man, a passionate sportsman and a great community worker, those of us who played in the famousEpuni Cambridge Cricket team will particularly remember his competitiveness. RIP Martin Sympathy to Bev and all the family. Paul and Judy Keane

Sincere sympathy and prayers on the loss of a wonderful man and bowler. A great worker and Life Member of the NZ Catholic Indoor Bowling Association he will certainly be missed at next year's Nationals. May he rest in peace.
