Mark WOODWARD Obituary
WOODWARD, Mark Lewis:
Passed away on 30th June 2021, aged 44, in Bangkok after a determined fight with cancer. Much loved father to Jack and stepfather to Ally, (Mackay, QLD), brother to Nicholas & Laura, and son to Lewis and the late Josie (Wellington). He was a much-loved friend of his angel Beth who spent every minute with him during the latter days. We are unable to express sufficiently our thanks for the loving support he received whilst so far from home. He will forever be in the hearts of those he leaves behind. He was a very competitive person and will be very much missed by his running, paddling, biking and work friends in Mackay. After all, who else would do three marathons in three days. Sadly, his dream of a bike ride across the Simpson Desert will not now happen. Mark will return to Lower Hutt as travel restrictions allow and a memory service will be held at some time to allow friends to say their goodbye.
