So sad to hear the passing of Mark.
We worked together a lot in early days of his ambition to get into the industry.
A lovely guy, full of enthusiasm.
RIP old mate.

Cousin Mark, I read your text messages today I wanted to send you a heavenly text to let you know Mark that I loved you as a brother and you were a great friend. One month has gone; the pain is so raw. I will miss our laughs, our quirkiness, our outdated sense of dress lol. I will miss you forever; cousin Raewyn x

I'm so sorry and sad we have lost Mark.
A really good guy. Quick witted, and full of energy.
And very talented.
A great fun colleague and a friend.

Thank you so much Mark.
I'm so glad we all caught up recently at VUW.

Where ever you are - I hope you are safe, well and happy.

I had the immense good fortune to work with Mark in the early 2000s during his time at Vic Uni. He was the funniest guy I have ever worked with and a good mate. Within minutes of being in Mark's company you were guaranteed to be in fits of laughter!

It's hard to believe we will never see him again. It's such a tragedy for Mark's family and friends and for Carole's family.

Kia Kaha my friend. We'll all miss you incredibly

Mark was my best friend for 20 years. He was a very gentle, kind and caring person with a wry sense of humour. We shared a love of movies. He was talented and creative. Mark worked on several feature films and wrote scripts in his spare time. I was proud to be able to help him by working on the nearly completed feature film that he directed and co-wrote. The finished film will be one part of his enduring legacy. His friends in both Wellington and Dunedin will always remember Mark with fondness. My thoughts are with Mark's family and his friends at this very sad time.
