Dear Del, Lynda, Nikki and Bradley. My deepest condolences for the loss of your son, brother, husband and father, and just a great guy who touched the hearts and lives of many.
Bens - my friend, my confidante, my brother. I can only hope you knew how much our friendship meant to me, from all the hilarious banter, mis-adventures, and meaningful discussions through good times and bad I always got so much out of our relationship. Your light helped me greatly through my own times of turmoil and struggle, your humour always made me laugh even in my darkest moments, your words of support and encouragement therapeutic. And while none of this will ever be forgotten, I´ll celebrate and remember you for all the great times, the countless tears of laughter in all the funny, strange and bizarre situations we´d find ourselves in, the non-stop stream of nonsense we´d come up with to make ourselves and each other laugh, and for just being a great guy, so full of life and love for his friends and family. Thanks for everything bro, knowing you has been one of the best parts of my life.
Rest peacefully my brother.

Dear Del, Lynda, Nikki, Bradley and family, sending my deepest condolences and lots of love for the loss of a great man. I first met Benny in London in 1998 and continued to have many fun times of connecting through to Sydney, Singapore and when he returned back to Auckland and then Thailand. Thanks Benny for some very funny times and chats, I will miss our great catch ups about life, family and children and gutted I missed catching up one last time. Rest in peace now mate. Lots of hugs and love Michelle

Del, Lynda & Family
My deepest condolences.
I first meet Benny when we were in the primers at Tawa Primary School in the mid to late 1970's and we became instant mates as 6-7 year old's as we use to play footy together every lunch time. We went right thru Tawa Primary, Tawa Intermediate & Tawa college together and we remained great mates into adulthood. Benny - you were a life long friend and my oldest mate. We played together in various Junior Mana Rep Footy Sides where we were the only 2 guys from Tawa in the side - You being the defensive genius playing as a sweeper and I played up front on the wing. Getting rides to rep footy games in Del's Green European car that only had 2 doors made me feel like I was playing in Italy. Your lifelong friendship meant a lot to me Benny and despite not seeing a lot of each other in adulthood given our different paths/travel and living in different counties when ever we did catch up I bloody loved it.
You always had a special charisma about you, were super smart, a brilliant sportsmen and a deeply caring person. You were also a bloody funny bloke too. I'll miss you Benny !
