Maria Josephine (nee Muollo):
Passed away peacefully on Sunday 7 March 2021 at Hastings Hospital. Devoted wife of Giuseppe (dec); caring mother and mother-in-law of Jeanne and Jacques, Aida and Graham, Nino and Karina, Diana and Luke, Joe and Karin; beloved Nonna of Jaquelyne, Nicola, Anna, Marcus, Daniel (dec), Emma, Amanda, Nicholas, Antony and Michael; and loving Bisnonna of Bella, Luca, Max, Gia, Louis, and Charlotte.
Finally at peace,
but always in our hearts.
Requiescat in Pace.
The Rosary will be recited at the Chapel of Our Lady's Home of Compassion, 2 Rhine Street, Island Bay, at 7.00pm on Thursday, 11 March. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in the above Chapel on Friday, 12 March, at 11.00am, followed by interment at Makara Cemetery. To a loving Aunty who was always so interested in everyone and what was going on. You fought the fight and held on for as long as you could as your love for your children was so strong that kept you going even when the doctors had said your life was coming to an end. You are no longer suffering now and may you Rest In Peace. God bless you and I am sure you will be welcomed with open arms by Zio pepino, nonna and Nonno and uncle Tony, Daniel John, and all of those that are dear that have gone before you. Riposa in pace ❤

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate Maria's life well lived. Please accept Gareth and My deepest sympathies. We both have such fond memories of living next to Mariatina chatting through the fence, visiting, having her over for dinner and having cups of tea and coffee. She was a great lady and will surely be missed.
