Manjula VASAN Obituary

VASAN, Manjula Kanti (Ragini):
Passed away peacefully at her daughters home in Pukekohe on 17 January 2016. Loved wife of the late Kanti Lakha Vasan. Loving mum of Aqshai and Malini, Priya and Umesh. Adored Ma of Sonya, Sohail, Devon, Akash and Sai. You will be missed by all, your strength of character and vibrant nature will be remembered. Her funeral service will be held at the Wellington Indian Association Centre, Kemp Street, Kilbirnie on Thursday, 21 January at 11am (respects may be given from 10.30-11am) thereafter cremation will be held at the Karori Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations will be forwarded to Franklin Hospice and Wellington Cancer Society. Visitors are welcome at 75 Rotherham Terrace, Miramar from 1-6pm Friday to Sunday.

Wellington will never be the same without you, dear Mami. You showered us with so much love, caring and warmth. You now join Kantimama who has been patiently waiting for you in Heaven. Tell him that I think about him a lot and that I still love homemade chips with tomato chutney just how you used to make it for both of us. Thank you for all the happy memories and for everything you did for Mum. I will never forget you and Mama . . .
