I remember meeting Sister Loyola at a work planning day. I was looking around the amazing veggie garden she tended and got talking about how to prevent slugs from eating veggies.
Sister was so passionate about gardening that I forgot I was supposed to be back at the next session of the planning day. I was photoshopped into the team photo which had been taken while I was absent! Rest In Peace beautiful lady. Katy Jordan

Sister Loyola I will be forever grateful for the love and support you provided for me and many other parents and families who had lost babies. Along with 2 other ladies, we helped you start the SANDS group in 1998. This group saved not only me but other parents as well. I am proud to say it is still running today. You were instrumental in putting in the memorial at Taita Cemetery for all parents who had lost their babies. It was place they could go to to remember their precious rainbow baby. I feel blessed to have had you in my life and will never forgot your wonderful, compassionate and kind loving spirit.
Rest in Peace Sister Loyola and enjoy Gods garden.
Forever in my heart
Love Sue xx

Sister I have known you since I was a young nurse at Hutt Hospital. I later reunited with you on a visit to your garden at the Home of Compassion. WE had the best scones ever there. To me you will always shine as a beacon of light on a dark night. Your sense of humour was delightful.May you shine in heaven above, full of love, the place you deserve to be.

The memories I have of you with mum, kicking my butt when needed (verbally of course), the laughs and just you as a person. Those memories span over 15 years and to be honest I guess you became like a family member.
I know il miss you for sure

My heartfelt condolences to the Sisters of Compassion and the many, many people who knew and/or were helped by Sister Loyola over the 71 years of her life as a nun. Through her quiet love and compassion towards others, she linked all who met her to Almighty God, Whom she served so faithfully.

I remember you quietly tending to the garden at the Home of Compassion as we walked past to go to the wonderful Aubert crèche. You always chatted to us and loved the children. Go well Sister Loyola. Amazing you are.
