I am saddened to learn of Holly's passing, he was, as Alan Colin quite correctly observed, a good bugger. Coupled with being a dedicated and efficient detective of upright standing my memories of Holly are of humour and respect. My deepest condolences to you all. Rest in peace Holly.

Very, very sorry to hear about Holly's passing. He was a true Axeman - Wellington Football Club - both on and off the field.

So very sorry to hear of Lloyds passing Sue, Katty, Brad and family. Lloyd was such a lovely man and always had a smile on his face. He always asked after our family and had a great memory. I am sure you all have amazing memories.
Take care especially Sue. I wish I could give you a big hug. Tash xx

I remember Holly from way back singing the Alley Ooop song at a Wellington Rugby Club party at Ted and Jessie Lines´s home - probably 1972/73??
He was also a highly respected Detective who worked alongside Ted Cox in Wellington CIB. Ted would be very sorry to hear this sad news.

Sue and family very sorry to hear that Holly has passed. I have so many memories of working with Holly during the 70s and 80's in Wellington. He was a good mate to many and an inspiration to us younger ones. Who could ever forget his rendition of the Peanut song - brilliance. Again my condolences RIP Holly you were a real good bugger.
