Linda Lee (Thompson):
Passed away suddenly on
7 March 2023, aged 58 years, in Wellington. Cherished mother of Jesse Wood. Avid sports junkie/journalist. A funeral service will be held at St Hilda's Anglican Church, 311 The Parade, Island Bay, Wellington, on Thursday 16 March 2023 at 1.00pm, followed by a private cremation. Travel well Linda, my treasured friend. I am going to miss your wit and humour. Your tenacity and dogged determination was inspirational along with your amazing ability to "pick yourself up and dust yourself off". You were the loyalist of friends. Your love for Jessie and your pride in the man he has become was immense. Lots of Love.

Linda you were one of the ultimate battlers, cannot understand why you didn't beat this final challenge - maybe you will somehow. You grabbed the opportunity to edit the Evening Post Secondary School Sports page and you never looked back.
