Of Levin. Passed away peacefully on Wednesday 22 December 2021 at Madison Lifecare, Levin, surrounded by her loving family. aged 85 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Peter. Loved mother of David & Roslyn, Kevin & Jacqui, Grant & Lesley, and Christine & Tere. Much loved Nana of Travis, Adam, Rory, Nicholas, Georgia, Jerome, Keeley and recent Great-Nana of Byron. A celebration of Lily's life will be held at The Funeral Home, 545 Queen St, Levin, TODAY, Friday 24 December 2021 at 11.00am, followed by private cremation. Messages C/- 547 Queen St, Levin 5510.

We were very sad to hear of Lily's passing. Lily was Mum's best friend growing up, who lived down the road in Pirie Street Wellington. They were softball team mates, Lily being 1st base and fielding throws from Mum in the infield. They were also bridesmaids for each others wedding. Sadly the moving up North then the onset of dementia in Mum meant that they had lost contact. I have fond memories as a child going to Levin with Mum to visit the Blair family. Please accept our deep sympathy in the passing of Lily. I would very much like to keep a thread of contact with her family to keep alive and honour their special friendship. I have my Aunty visiting at the moment and have loved to hear that our family connection is still strong through 2 generations down with the Black Sox.
