Farewell Lex, you have completed your last journey. Deepest condolences to the family and thank you to Annette for bringing love and light into your life after darkness.

Kersti, Zane and families - Lex worked so hard to be both Dad and Mum to you both and then Grandad and Grandmother to the grandchildren after the sad loss of your Mum. Over the cups of teas and long chats it was very obvious this was so important to him and I feel he achieved this goal. Then when he met Annette he could then share these roles and just be Grandad.

Cath, Mingo & Kaine- You all had such an amazing family bond that was an envy of many to see and Lex is a void that cannot be filled. Keep that family bond, as Cath in you the family can see/feel and hear Lex.

Such a sad loss and very difficult to accept that Lex is no longer with us, but thankful he was part of our lives for such a long time.

I'm sorry for your loss. Lex was such a caring and kind man. He always went out of his way to help me when we worked together. We shared many laughs over coffee and problem solved together. He always stood up for the people he cared for and held others accountable for what was right.
Lex, you'll be deeply missed. Sending love and thoughts to the family. Keep each other close during this time and lean on your friends.

LEX - from the first day of moving into a new home, you introduced yourself & said if you could help in anyway to just ring. So over the years a fair share of phone calls have come your way.
People drift in & out of our lives with some leaving a lasting memory.
YOU have been one of those - truly an awesome neighbour & friend, one that shall be missed dearly by myself & those who have been privileged to have met you.
