Lesley BERRYMAN Obituary
(nee Mitchinson):
Peacefully at Hutt Hospital on 1 June 2023, aged 87 years. Dearly loved wife of the late John (JB); mother and mother-in-law of Lindsay (Levin), Stephen and Susan (Wellington), Alison and Mike (Blenheim), and Hilary (Wellington); special Gran to Rachel and Emma, Sarah and Jack. Thank you to the teams at Bob Scott and Hutt Hospital for their care. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wellington Free Ambulance would be appreciated via wfa.org.nz or may be left at the service. A service to celebrate Lesley's life will be held at Gee & Hickton, Cornwall Manor, corner Knights Rd & Cornwall St, Lower Hutt, on Thursday 8th June 2023 at 2.30pm, followed by private cremation. My condolences to the Berryman family. I first met Lesley when she was a part time/ relief teacher at Pencarrow where I was a young teacher. I bumped into her lots of times over the years in Lower Hutt, and we always stopped for a short chat.

We spent many a Happy Hours watching Wellington Rugby together many years ago with Lesley & John
Sadly we will be unable to attend the funeral on Thursday as we have a another funeral to attend on day same day up the Coast
We have you all in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time
May she rest in eternal peace with her beloved John
