Dear Chan Family,

Deepest condolences on the loss of your dear father, Mr. Laywood Chan. I know he led an active and productive life. I remember when he had the Lantern Restaurant on Vivian Street (I think he passed on some of his wonderful cooking skills to some of you). I hope you all can be comforted by the many happy memories from your childhood days, spent in your grandfather's Marjoribanks Street mansion, at the top of the hill. May your father rest in peace now, he has been reunited with your Mum and your grandparents.

With love,

Sandra Tims

Dear Virginia, Keith, Hettie, Yvonne, Christina, Selwyn, partners and families, we were saddened to hear of the passing of your Dad, Lai Suk. I can picture him now with his glasses his voice and his big smile ready for a chat, a joke, and ever generous with his wonderful food. It always gladdened my heart to see your dad. Our thoughts are with you all at this time. Love Sandra, Kevin, and Family
