Beloved husband of Sally, father of Nicholas and Lucinda. Father-in-law of Belinda and Anthony. Brother of Bernice. Extremely proud grandfather of Pia, Joseph, Petra, George and Tom. At Lawrie's request a family service has been held. All messages c/o- Wycroft, 170 Matahiwi Road, Masterton 5888.

I'm stunned -- and so sad -- to learn of Lawrie's death. I worked for him at International Public Relations when he first took over the agency (formerly G. Hugh Sumpter & Associates). He was a brilliant man with a wonderful sense of humor -- someone I've never forgotten. My sincerest condolences to his family.

Will miss seeing Lawrie out and about when we were living in Masterton.Terry Field had great respect for Lawrie,he was such a gentleman.Terry has since passed on himself and didn't know about Lawries sad passing.He was a fine gentleman and a great personality.
